Need a partner for the upcoming event

Entering an event

In 2024 we moved to a new entry system which is operated by us but the code is run and maintained by Queensland Rogaining. A number of other rogaining associations in Australia are also running on this system.

When entries open a link to Enter will be posted to the event page.

The table below lists the indicative fees for WARA events. (Revised with new fees for 2024)

Please note that membership to WARA is now (as of 2018) included in your entry fee and no longer required as a separate fee.

So you've entered the event, and are wondering what happens next.....

What Notification will I get that I've entered?

If you successfully entered on-line, you would have received a receipt e-mail from PayPal and a confirmation email from the entry system.

A PDF document with Event Info and Directions will be emailed to the team contact, generally on the Monday prior to the event.

If you can't find the event directions e-mail, check your junk folder. If you still can't find the event directions e-mail, please contact the event entry manager, see bottom of page.

When will I get my event directions?

Event directions are generally made available on or after the Monday of the week of the event.

A PDF document with Event Info and Directions will be emailed to the team contact, generally on the Monday prior to the event.

If it's Wednesday of the week of the event, and you have not yet received your event directions, please contact the event entry manager, see bottom of page.

Can I make changes to the team?

WARA policy is no refunds after the closing date. Because food, maps, toilets, and other things are ordered based on entrant numbers, if people could withdraw at any time, event prices would have to rise to take this into account.

If it's before the entry closing date of the event, you can click the link under the Entries link to make a change to your entry. If a refund is applicable these will be manually processed by the Treasurer in the two weeks after the event.

After the entry closing date of the event, you can make the team changes at the registration desk at the event on the day, and bring cash to pay for any addtional team members.
